About Madison “Maddie” Boetsch, AMFT

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Maddie Boetsch, and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, or relationship struggles. When life feels heavy or past experiences seem to hold you back, it’s easy to feel disconnected from yourself and unsure of how to move forward. I’m here to offer a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to begin healing.

I take a warm, integrative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy—bringing in evidence-based tools while honoring your unique experiences. I’m trained in EMDR, a powerful approach to helping clients process trauma and distressing life experiences. I’m also certified in the Gottman Method (Level 2) to support couples in building strong, emotionally safe relationships, with additional experience in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps deepen self-awareness and foster inner healing. I draw from Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Person-Centered care, and other experiential approaches to guide our work in a way that’s meaningful, collaborative, and personalized.

I’ve had the privilege of working with children, families, couples, and adults from all walks of life, and I hold deep respect for the courage it takes to step into the therapy space. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I’ll meet you with empathy, curiosity, and practical tools to support your growth. I believe that you’re not here to be “fixed”—you’re already whole. Therapy is about reconnecting with that wholeness and creating space for healing, clarity, and empowerment.

I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University, where I developed my clinical foundation and deepened my passion for walking alongside others through life’s challenges.
Outside of the therapy room, I love being by the ocean, practicing yoga, spending time with friends and family, and going on walks with my yellow lab!
