About Olivia Zane, APCC
Hi, I’m Olivia Zane. I am a Filipino-Chinese American therapist who is passionate about helping my clients overcome their mental health challenges, relationship struggles, and life difficulties. As an Asian American, I understand the hardships of balancing a family-oriented lifestyle in an individualistic world. I received my Bachelor of Science in psychology from Walla Walla University and my Master of Science in counseling from Loma Linda University.
Before joining Fusion Care Group, I provided individual and group therapy to a diverse community of children (ages 7-11 years old) in the San Jacinto Unified School District and young adults (ages 17-35 years old) at California State University, San Bernardino. I enjoyed teaching individual and group clients about overcoming anxiety, improving self-confidence, regulating and understanding emotions, and practicing mindfulness and meditation. During this time, I treated a multitude of diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, anger issues, crisis and suicide prevention, relationship distress, and LGBTQIA challenges. I helped my clients reach their goals using various therapy techniques, including Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
My goals for therapy are to increase accessibility and provide a safe and trusting environment for my clients to feel understood and heard. I strive to empower my clients to find ways to achieve their goals and improve their lives despite their present and past obstacles.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, but have also lived in Washington state and Florence, Italy. I love playing volleyball, weightlifting, Pilates, traveling, spending time in nature, being artsy and creative, and enjoying the company of friends and family.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
