About Nick Davis, LPCC

Hello! My name is Nick Davis a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), based in San Diego, California working with clients throughout California via telehealth. I work with both adolescents and adults and specialize in a variety of areas including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, impulsivity, suicidal ideation, self injurious behavior, self esteem and focus/ concentration issues. I received my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego in 2018.

My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning it is based on the needs of the client. I believe in a collaborative approach in order to help the client identify their primary needs and tailor therapeutic interventions to meet those needs. I specialize in a number of modalities however I most commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. Through these modalities I work with clients to address both the internal and external factors related to their mental health, and assist with finding solutions that work best for each individual in the context of their situation. I typically work with adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of relational and transitional concerns. This most typically manifests in the form of anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, interpersonal conflicts within relationships, suicidal thoughts, and self injurious and impulsive behaviors.
