About Robert Keetch III, LMFT

Hello, my name is Robert Keetch III. I have been licensed since 2023 and have clinical experience working with a diverse population across all age groups. I have worked in an outpatient treatment program with adolescents where we focused on maintaining sobriety while navigating life’s stressors such as grief, the legal system, family issues, and peer interactions.
I have worked with the military population focusing on serving the children of service members who were located at a child development center and a before and after school program with ages ranging from toddlers to elementary aged children. In the younger aged children, I worked on appropriate peer interactions, modeling appropriate behaviors, and dealing with the deployment of their parent(s) and the changes in behaviors that may appear as a result. In school aged children, some of the most prevalent topics addressed were peer pressure, bullying, anger management, feelings and emotions stemming from the deployment of parent(s) and dealing with friends moving because of their parent(s) duty stations being reassigned. In this role I also assisted children who were in special education within the school system and who had developmental disabilities. I also collaborated with staff at the before and after school program on various ways to support the children who had a developmental disability.
I also have experience working in an outpatient program with both military service members and civilians. The primary focus has been on addressing anxiety, depression, and life stressors. I worked with clients to become more familiar with their body’s response and reactions to both stressors, anxiety, and triggers (such as anger for example) and how to use this information to be able to address and overcome the experiences that relate to their anxiety, depression, and emotions.
Prior to my clinical experience I had the opportunity of working with individuals with developmental disabilities for over 15 years. They have ranged in age from 5 years old to over 80 years old. This experience has enabled me to not only work with clients from this specific population but also to help others have a better understanding of the individuals I worked with. This experience also allowed me to improve interactions between those I worked with and the community.
It has been an honor and a privilege to learn, grow, and serve all of the individuals whom I have worked with. It will also be an honor and a privilege for me to be able to work with and serve you and your loved ones as well.
