About Shannon Rasner, AMFT, APCC

“…the sole purpose of human experience is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.” –Carl Jung

Hi, I am Shannon Rasner, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.

I am here to support you through the challenges you are experiencing because no one should have to navigate difficult times alone. I believe that we can work towards a brighter, more manageable future through a collaborative therapeutic relationship. With over 6 years of experience, working with neurodivergent disorders, supporting survivors of sexual assault, and being involved in crisis intervention, I’ve had the privilege of treating diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA community, individuals dealing with ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Additionally, I’m equipped with the skills and experience to help people navigate complex diagnoses and co-occurring conditions, such as personality and psychotic disorders.

Originally from Texas, I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Recognizing the profound impact of personal backgrounds on mental health journeys, I am committed to providing individualized support. Each of you brings a unique perspective that deserves compassionate understanding and guidance. My goal is to help you discover the light in the darkness that you are facing. Taking that first step towards help can be daunting, but it’s a step towards relief and finding the support that you’ve been looking for. I look forward to accompanying you on this journey towards healing and understanding.
