About Lindsay Anderson, ACSW

Hi, I’m Lindsay — an Associate Social Worker with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges with care, honesty, and evidence-based support. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and I’m currently working under supervision toward full clinical licensure. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy for adolescents and adults, and I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and empowered.

My background includes work in hospital settings, eating disorder treatment centers, Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), and large healthcare systems like Kaiser Permanente. I’ve supported clients through grief, depression, postpartum challenges, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, mood disorders, and more. My approach combines empathy with practical tools, drawing from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), with the goal of tailoring treatment to your unique needs.

Above all, I believe that healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time; I regularly incorporate humor into my work as a way to build connection, reduce shame, and remind us that even in hard moments, we’re still human. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, clarity, and collaboration.
