I am seasoned at bio-psycho-social assessment and evaluation, diagnosis, care-planning, disease-state management and medication management. I am self-motivated to work independently, with the aptitude to thrive within a workgroup or cohort. I am a lifelong learner gifted with emotional fortitude, empathy, and tenacity in the face of a myriad of patient circumstances and environments.

My clinical experience includes Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care, Inpatient Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry, Pediatric and Adult Home Care, Pediatric and Adult Home Infusion, Hospice and Palliative Care, Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Educator and Sexual & Reproductive Medicine.
Currently, I specialize in working with women and young women who need help with Women’s Issues, Medication Management, Perinatal Mood Disorders, Abortion Grief, Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar Disorders, Prolonged Grief, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma and PTSD, Sexual Abuse, Sex and Human Trafficking, Intimate Partner Violence and Domestic Violence.

I use an integrative, eclectic and holistic, trauma-informed therapeutic approach weaving together person-centered therapy, judicious medication-management and responsiveness to patient needs arising out of their biological, psychological and social experience(s):

  • to guide recovery and healing
  • to provide tools that foster resilience
  • to promote ones highest functioning

  • Maintaining professional and personal self-awareness
  • Fostering a healing space of equality, diversity, inclusivity and individuality to patients of diverse backgrounds and ages
  • Empowering patients toward drawing on their inner resources
  • Engaging with patients in collaborative and positive ways

I welcome all cultures and minorities, all races and religions, POC, and the LGBTQIA+ communities.

It is an honor to continue the legacy of the “healers” in my life and help you on your journey.

Personal

I was born and raised in inner-city Chicago and grew up in a “melting pot” of children and families with different cultures, languages, and religions. I have dedicated my life in service to patients of all cultures, religions, and walks of life.

I love all things artistic and creative, everything related to nature, philosophy, reading, swimming, cooking and baking, yoga, learning, and anything related to a deeper search for meaning in my life.

I am down-to-earth and witty. I have been told I have an “old soul” and a calming voice.

I especially enjoy bringing my education, persona, and life/career experiences to the patients I serve.
