About Callie Khoury, LPCC

Does life feel heavier lately? Do you experience racing thoughts at night and find it difficult to quiet your mind? Are you struggling to meet your goals and feel unsure how to get there? If any of these questions resonate with you, I’m here to help! I work with adults and couples to help them navigate the challenges of life and grow in their feelings of strength and competency to face these challenges. I am passionate about supporting my clients in accessing their inner wisdom and meeting their full potential.

I create a space for clients to know and accept themselves deeply, so that true and meaningful growth based on their authentic selves can take place. My approach is warm with gentle challenging, all coming from a place of genuine care for my clients.

Additionally, I create an affirming environment for individuals from all sexual orientations, gender identities and cultural backgrounds. I value cultural humility and it is important to me that my clients feel respected and heard.

I find great meaning working with people to address experiences such as anxiety, depression, suicidality, grief and loss, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship issues and stressful life transitions. The main modalities that I draw from are ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Mindfulness, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy). I utilize the Gottman Method with couples.

When working with OCD, I specialize in ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). I am currently in the process of completing the Exposure and Response Prevention Certification program from The Knowledge Tree, which is projected to be completed in July 2026. I also draw from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) when working with OCD, as it is an effective complimentary approach. I care deeply about the intense struggle for those living with OCD and am passionate about supporting clients in taking their life back from this disorder.

I was raised in San Diego and completed my Undergraduate Degree at Seattle University in 2016 and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of San Diego in 2020.

I am honored to do this work and support my clients in finding peace and fulfillment in their lives. I look forward to meeting with you!
