About Claire Foster, LMFT
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and dedicated to helping adults overcome anxiety and mild to moderate levels of depression. With over 24 years of licensed experience in the field, I have successfully guided numerous individuals towards a healthier and more fulfilling life.
I believe in the power of CBT, a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique challenges and goals.
Anxiety can manifest in various ways, such as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, or panic disorder. By utilizing evidence-based techniques I can help clients understand the underlying causes of their anxiety and develop effective coping strategies. Through CBT, clients learn to challenge irrational thoughts, manage stress, and gradually face their fears, leading to increased confidence and a greater sense of control. Through CBT, clients learn to challenge negative self-talk, build self-compassion, and cultivate a positive self-image.
