About Diane Harrison, LCSW

Therapy is dedicated time and space for you. Whatever the challenge, we will work together to increase your emotional well-being and restore a sense of hope for the future. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with fifteen years of experience helping clients with daily challenges, difficult experiences, and mental health concerns.

I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I started my career as a counselor in an elementary school. Later, I joined a community mental health clinic as a therapist and clinical supervisor, concentrating on youth and families. I’ve also worked in a private practice setting focused on adults. I enjoy working with children and teens, helping them with their emotional and social growth. I’m also passionate about helping parents and caregivers strengthen their parenting skills and family relationships.

I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, adjustment disorders, depression, self-esteem issues, stress management, and relational conflict. I’m trained in numerous treatment modalities, and some I use frequently are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT (Trauma Focused CBT), FFT (Functional Family Therapy), and Mindfulness.

Interventions are tailored specifically to each client’s needs and goals. Always, I can promise you a safe, non-judgmental space where you will feel heard and valued.
