About Dr. Baylee Lyght, RPA

Hello! I’m Baylee Lyght and I am happy you are here. One of the hardest parts of the therapeutic process is often just getting started. A little about me: I’m a doctor of clinical psychology and am currently a registered psychological associate. I have worked in many different settings and with various populations that have helped me become a well-rounded clinician. From community mental health to outpatient and intensive outpatient settings, I have specialization in supporting those with severe and persistent mental illness, including psychotic-based and mood-related disorders. I also have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and have researched the impact of trauma within the transgender community. Additionally, I have worked in crisis response alongside first responders to provide support to individuals in suicidal crises. I have been trained in DBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, suicide prevention, somatic experiencing, and other person-centered and trauma-informed approaches. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and strive to work alongside my clients as they develop and move towards building the life they want for themselves. I am passionate about serving marginalized communities and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing homelessness and with limited access to resources. I provide care for clients ages 8 and up and prioritize creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
