About Jennifer Boules-Syta, LCSW

Hi and welcome!

I’m glad you’re here!

My name is Jennifer Boules-Syta and I was born and raised in Ventura, CA. I moved to Riverside County in 2020 and spend my free time outdoors with my two border collies’ family and friends. I love trying new restaurants, cooking new recipes, traveling, and exploring Riverside and San Diego county. I am bilingual in Arabic and English.

I started in the mental health field over 10 years ago. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, I graduated with distinction with both degrees. I currently hold a license to practice in both California and North Carolina. I started my career working in the mental health and substance abuse field. I have worked both in residential, day and crisis settings. I then moved to working with at risk kids and youth. I have spent most of my career working with adults, families, and couples who are need of additional support. I have worked with diverse cultures. I have also spent some time working with the migrant population. In addition, I have also worked with the military population. I have had the privilege to work with active duty, reserve and veterans, military spouses, and their families. I myself I am a child of a parent who was in the military and recognized the need for support for some of our most forgotten population. I personally do not believe one treatment style works for the same person. As individuals we are also so unique so I work with clients and together we figure out what would work best for you. You are the true expert on your life, and it takes courage to seek help! I can assist you in finding your inner strengths and together we can explore the ways that you can increase your overall level of health.
My areas of focus include Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Substance Use, Co-Occurring Life Changes, ADHD, Relationship Issues, PTSD, Moral Injury, Trauma, Mood Disorders, Anger Management, Self-Esteem, Peer Relationships, Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, Marital and Premarital
I offer and follow the following types of therapy; Attachment based, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Mindfulness based (MBCT), Multicultural, Narrative, Person Centered, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT) and Strength Based.
