About Kimberly Nugent, AMFT, APCC

Kimberly (she/her/hers) Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. I earned my dual Masters from the University of Massachusetts Global (formally Brandman University). Since 2021, I’ve worked in the community non-profit area and public school K-12 systems working with children to adolescents during COVID-19 when grief and loss were present every day. I volunteered for a local non-profit bereavement camp for kids in 2023 to hold space for children experiencing grief through loss. As grief has its timeline for each of us I learned more about them and myself in the process. It was a warming experience and I am going back again this summer!

These days, I center my work to focus on adults and couples. Parenting, relationship struggles with communication, infidelity, betrayal, divorce processing, grief, addiction, and porn addiction are just a few of the areas that I work in. I have been told by many past clients that my positive, authentic, and straightforward approach in my practice has helped inspire them and in some ways empowered them to move through their life-presenting issues. It is my goal to provide a non-judgmental safe space to explore and talk about why you want to be in therapy, and I will do my best to help you achieve your goals to move forward to where you want to be. The work is still yours to do, and I will walk with you on that growth journey and a privilege to meet you.
