My journey to mental healthcare
My interest in supporting others to cope with their hardships and traumas began at a very young age due to my own background filled with traumas and hardships. My experiences in life have molded me into a compassionate individual with a keen interest in helping others. My goal is to be there for others and support clients through their hardships and challenges and support them to reach their goals in life.

My goals for you
I start slow with the client to know the client beyond their symptoms and illness experience. I start by identifying broad motives, hopes, and dreams. I collaborate with the client to choose a theme to focus on and narrow their theme into one or more specific goals. I collaborate with the client to make their goals concrete, measurable, and SMART. Collaboratively we create an action plan to track and achieve their goals.

My first session with you
During the first session, I will ask questions about the client’s presenting concerns, as well as their history and background. I utilize active listening, reflecting listening, validation, empathy, and respect. I strive to connect with the client and the client connects with me in order to achieve the most effective therapeutic outcome. I provide a safe, accepted, respected, and comfortable environment for the client to feel safe to share their feelings, thoughts, concerns, challenges, hopes, and goals.
