About Sydney Stratford, AMFT

Hello, my name is Sydney Stratford, and I am an associate Marriage and Family therapist at Fusion Care Group. I enjoy the opportunity to sit alongside individuals who are exploring the challenging twists and turns life throws our way. I have experience working with children, adults and couples including those who have varying cultural, ethnic, and personal identities. I started my experience working with individuals who sought therapy due to experiencing domestic violence. I have training in TF-CBT and have worked with clients to explore past trauma, anxiety, depression, and everyday stressors. My continued work has led me to seeing couples and families as well as individual clients. I completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Redlands in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and later received my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. Although my education emphasizes viewing an individual through a family focused lens, my approach to therapy is personalized to the individual. Whether it is your first time coming to therapy or you are finding your way back to it, I look forward to offering you a space to process experiences, challenge your thoughts and grow as an individual.
