About Taylor Hane, AMFT

“He who has a why to live for, can bear almost any how.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

Hello and warmest of welcomes! My name is Taylor Hane and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist here at Fusion Care Group. First, I am human, then therapist. I like to approach most things with genuine curiosity, humility, grace, and authenticity while valuing a strong therapeutic alliance. I have an integrated approach to therapy that pulls from different theoretical orientations (such as CBT, DBT, Attachment theory, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, etc.) for a tailored model specific to the client and their goals. I received my bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication studies from Concordia University Irvine with an emphasis in Public Relations and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

I have experience working with adults, children, adolescents/teens, families and couples which has been very insightful and I truly enjoy working with a variety of populations. I feel passionately about working with individuals, couples, teens, young adults, military, and first responders (to name a few). Working alongside clients to help build their self-esteem, explore traumas, implement mindfulness, teach coping skills, and provide tools is very important to me. Clinically, I like to tap into clients’ resilience and bring self-awareness to the forefront by providing psychoeducation that clients can take with them through life.

I have a passion for sports (both watching and playing!) and grew up playing most sports but soccer was my main focus. I am half Greek and grew up heavily involved in the Greek community (yes this includes competitively Greek dancing and lots of Greek weddings!). Navigating the journey of life can be both challenging, rewarding, and everything in between and I am here to offer support and guidance towards growth through trained skills, fresh perspectives, and much more. Above everything, I passionately enjoy working with people and utilizing my strengths/skills to help others feel empowered in their lives. By providing a safe environment and exploring connections, emotions, meaning, impairments, etc., we can work together to meet your needs and goals!
